Celebrating National Tea Day at Colonnades at The Signet Library
On this the day we celebrate Britain's 400 year love affair with a cuppa, what better way for us to mark National Tea Day than with a visit to Colonnades at The Signet Library.
Widely celebrated as the purveyor of 'Edinburgh's Finest Afternoon Tea' it's easy to see why when you step into the stunning 19th century building and marvel at the opulent library surrounds with its Corinthian columns and ornate balustrades that line the gallery above. The beautifully placed tables with their mirrored tops, offer a Gatsby-esque glamour, which is added to should one decide to order a glass of champagne on arrival. A must for us of course!
