Father’s Day – the ‘Gift of Experience’
Happy May Day! Next month it’s Father’s Day (Sun 15 June) and over the next few weeks the same question will pop up. What do you give the man who has everything? We thought it was time we told you about our Father’s Day secret.
Is your dad is a Steak and Ale man, who is partial to some speciality cheese?
If the answer is yes, then he’ll love our first ever Self-Drive Tasting Lunch at the Hugh Grierson Organic Farm in relaxing, rural Perthshire. It sure beats a pair of socks, a bottle of Scotch and a box of wine gums, does it not? This ‘Experience Gift’ is the one he will remember long after the whisky and wine gums are finished and the socks are full of holes.
This is a unique lunch running one day only on Father’s Day, Sunday 15 June 2014 from 11.45am to 2pm. It’s a chance to meet owner, Sascha (wife of Hugh) Grierson and tour this fascinating farm. There will be an insight into the magnificent Aberdeen Angus breed and a chance to understand exactly what makes an incredible ‘bit of beef’.
The steak cuts tasted will be paired with a range of speciality hand crafted Scottish ales.
And as if that’s not enough the lunch will quite literally be polished off with a Scottish Artisan Cheese & Oatcake Tasting.
This is the Father’s Day gift that will keep you in the good books for at least 52 weeks! Places are very limited and bookings must be made in advance.
Directions to the meeting point (between Auchterarder and Perth) are provided on booking. £59 per person. (£115.00 for 2. Contact us directly for this offer). E-mail us info@tastingscotland.com
Or book a place directly on our events page: http://tastingscotland.com/events/
You know he’s worth it!
Tastefully yours, Brenda
